Orange Wine Festival Social Media Marketing

Client: Brand Orange

Brand Orange was tasked with the marketing of the 2017 Orange Wine Festival. RIM was engaged to provide content and run the social media component for this festival.

The need

Gain interest and get attendance for events during the Orange Wine Festival 2017, while continuing to build the Orange NSW Region Brand.  The social media project was started quite close to the event so required quick engagement to build interest and most importantly get ‘bums on seats’.

The process

RIM consulted with the team and devised a creative campaign based on the regions key unique messages utilising both paid and organic social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  The total campaign lasted for 38 days.

The result

14,514 people engaged with the content over the 38 days and budget of less than $1K.   We were able to turn around several ‘close-to- cancelling’ events, to ‘sold-out’ through strategic targeting custom audiences.  Engagement rate was high.   Signature events held by the festival (including the night market) were all well attended.
