Just three months of mentoring to see digital fly for local Cafe.
RIM commenced working with the team at Nile St Cafe in May 2017, who without a main street location needed to extend their following beyond their existing loyal clients – who have uncovered the secret of value fine food and great coffee in the ‘village’ suburbs of Orange. In essence we needed to get on the digital train to amplify their stunning word of mouth recommendations.
After an initial planning session and positioning strategy the Nile St team decided that a mentoring and training approach would suit their business best and we set off to work on developing their positioning through a new standard of digital assets, increased connection with existing fans and using the full breadth digital options to remind the community and visitors of their fabulous and tucked away location.
Sam really enjoyed working with owner Kathryn, both of similar vintages so discovering both the technical and psychological aspects of making digital media work. Kathryn is now a fully fledged digital marketer, stamping her own unique humour and insight to a wide variety of posts types and engaging online with her fans and followers from the depths of the kitchen.
One of the main things is that Kathryn no longer sees digital media as overwhelming and its been fantastic to be part of watching her confidence and skills grow and she takes this ‘social media thing by the horns’.
The results have been outstanding. More regular reviews are coming in, Nile St cafe is now placed #2 on google maps and #2 in Trip advisor, appearance in search results is trending up engagement in increasing over all social media. All of this in a short (in digital timeframe) three months.
Local area marketing can be a challenge. Let RIM help your team develop their skills to run your social and digital media through proven training, systems and mentoring.
